How to Compress a PDF for Email Without Losing Quality

The problem
Email providers and job portals often reject PDFs above a small file limit. The risky fix is over-compressing until the document looks blurry or hard to read.
A better workflow is to compress in one pass, review the result, and only then make deeper edits if the file is still too large.
